RATM stands for R age A gainst T he M inivan. Rage Against The Minivan is the name of a blog i follow, written by a woman named Kristen, whose blog i have been following ever since i saw her and her husband on The View (which i almost never watch, but happened to watch that day) talking about adoption, a subject that interests me a great deal. Why am i telling you this? O.k., i'm getting to that. One of Kristen's aims in life in general and in her blog is to (i'm paraphrasing now) help rid the world of false stereotypes (as i understand it). To that end, she has begun a weekly series spotlighting the struggles of different folks in different situations who share what they want the world to know about their particular circumstance--a dispelling of stereotypes.
