Ready, set, go!
This one will be fast.
Today, i...
- did not go to church (because i love the people of God and did not want to subject them to my 1 1/2 weeks-without-a-shower-odor)
- did laundry at the washateria (i love that word)
- prepared chicken feet for transport
- cleaned out the truck in preparation for tomorrow's escapades
- prepared chicken container for tomorrow
- refreshed chicken coop bedding
- completely forgot about feeding my husband, who did not forget and thankfully is a great cook
- fed and put away chickens
- had the great pleasure and delight of showering at relatives house (way groovy shower and amazing feeling of cleanliness)
- cleaned kitchen and washed dishes with rain water (i am so cool)
- burned garbage after dark
- folded and put away laundry
- posted blog (this is a faith statement - i assume i will actually post this blog)
Tomorrow, i plan to (Lord willing)
- get up really early
- capture chicken named Soupy and contain for trip to new home
- NOT forget to bring chicken feet for chicken foot loving friend
- drive to Conroe all by myself (which never happens) and possibly enjoy some drive thru breakfast on the way (just because i can)
- be at Eva's house by 6:30 a.m.
- pass off Soupy to new home
- ride to Bound4Life event in Houston (see last Sunday's post for details) with women of like minds and hearts
- march, pray, be silent, participate, etc.
- arrive back in Conroe 4-ish maybe
- retrieve my vehicle
- meet person who is giving me an unwanted rooster (whom i plan to eat)
- maybe, if it's early enough, squeeze in much needed visit with wonderful friend
- go to store and purchase something (i'll have to remember what) for wonderful hubby
- go home to my beloved
- feed chickens and everyone else
- sit down (i'm sure i'll need it)
- post new blog entry
O.k. that's the short of it. It's 11 o'clock; i better get some sleep.
Good night and many blessings.
The mind of man plans his way; the Lord directs his steps. -Proverbs 16:9
my two favorite parts:
